Our Story
Get to Know Cam Refrigeration
CAM Refrigeration Inc. was founded in 1984 by Tom Cooke, Mike Augenstein, and Russ Miller. Our goal was to establish a light commercial service organization, utilizing our experience to serve the community with quality and integrity.
“C” Tom came from sales with Williams and company.
“A” Mike came from Forma Scientific Laboratory equipment refrigeration.
“M” Russ came from Knickerbockers Inc. commercial refrigeration.
Our first office was in each other’s kitchen. In 1987 a move was made to 409 Second Street then to Route 60N. During this time period the partnership was dissolved and Mike assumed ownership.
In 1998 Jeanie Durham was added as a partner and office administrator and we relocated to our present location at 641B State Route 821 in Broughton Commercial Properties complex 1.
In 2014 Mike and Jeanie began talks with the employees about them taking over day to day operations. Everyone is working together to continue the same quality of service our clients have come to know and expect.
We appreciate the trust and confidence our clients have in us and look forward to continuing to serve you and the Mid-Ohio Valley.
CAM Refrigeration is a proud member of the Better Business Bureau, the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce, and is approved by the Environmental Protection Agency. Being a passionate part of the community does not stop there. We believe giving back to the community we live in with donations, sponsoring individuals and lending a hand in times of need.
We are licensed in HVAC & Refrigeration in both Ohio and West Virginia.
